This poor employee found himself between a spoiled customer and an even worse boss after the son of his employer came into his store to buy a game and gave him enough lip to last a lifetime. After a 16-year-old kid came into the store to pick up a game he had already paid for, but wasn't old enough to have, as the game was rated M for mature, the employee followed the store policy and asked the kid to return with a legal guardian. As the disgruntled teen left, he turned back and gave an ominous warning, "Enjoy the unemployment line." He didn't think much about it, but when his manager came in the following day and asked, "Yesterday, did you have a kid come in asking to purchase a game that he preordered?" his brain started turning. Turns out, the kid was the son of a "well respected businessman in the area" and had his father contact his boss' boss, who contacted his manager to let him know he would be fired. Many people in the comments wondered if this sort of business practice was indeed legal, however, at this point, it didn't much matter. Hope you're enjoying your game kid because you just lost someone their job. -
